Hooray
for Hollywood!
The
"Reel" Thing:
"Celebrity" guests at a corporate event I created at a Beverly Hills
estate

"Marilyn" surprised this CEO at his company's Los Angeles bash.
My
client with Brad Pitt
Actually, I knew she was a great fan, so I sent her this
lifesize "stand up" of Brad from one of my film studio locations. (FYI,
she's married, so she kept it in her office.)

The
"Real" Thing:
Where else but in Southern California could you
even
imagine hosting your party at the home of Mrs. John Wayne?
Pilar
was a gracious hostess when I booked her lovely home for special
events. The guests loved her “trivia quiz” about the
Duke.

Our hostess

Reception by the pool, then an intimate business dinner in Pilar's
living room

We tented Pilar's tennis court for
this larger company event.

Wild about Harry!
I hired Harry Connick, Jr. for HGTV's cable industry bash I produced in
New Orleans. Because this is his home town, he said we would be hearing
the "Super Sonic"
Harry that night.

I
had the orchestra seats of this historic theatre covered with a
platform
to create the party area.

And
Harry rocked the house with his funk band!
My
"I Can't Believe I Did This!" moment...
My clients were looking all over for me to get my photo taken with
Harry after the show. I was downstairs in the theatre tending to event
details and missed this!
Harry looked tired after that knockout performance. He had flown in
from
Los Angeles just for our party and had little sleep the night before.
His wife was very pregnant at home in Los Angeles and
couldn't wait for him to return with beignets,
those famous New Orleans
pastries. :-)

The
legendary The Drifters with another icon at Michelin's New Year's Eve gala.
Did you ever sway to the cool sounds of Under the Boardwalk
and This Magic Moment?

Bibendum
("Bib"), the Michelin Man, celebrating his 100th birthday at Michelin's
New Year's Even event that I produced at a spectacular auto museum. The
following day, Bib showed off his new "buff" body on his own float in
the Rose Parade.

Take this incomplete $12 million estate in Beverly Hills to provide the perfect design-in-progress theme location for Home & Garden Television's private event...

Build a stage and set up the party site on the back patio..
. Transform the mansion into a unique special event location...food and beverage served indoors, entertainment outdoors...

And hire Crosby, Stills & Nash to perform!!

The result? This unique location and the event I created was the talk of the cable industry.
That's David Crosby, Steven Stills and Graham Nash with very happy clients and radio personality Rick Dees, one of the guests.
Another "I Can't Believe I Did This!" moment:
I stood in the room as my photographer took the photo above and it didn't occur to me to get my own photo taken with these legendary recording artists. I guess my ego was on vacation :-)

Who ARE these 40s looking "stars?" Guess who that brunette is.
